About the university: The University of National and World Economy (UNWE), the largest and oldest economics university in Southeastern Europe, was founded in 1920. Its eight faculties and 34 departments employ an academic staff of 500. There are currently more than 20,000 students enrolled at the university.
Areas of expertise: UNWE´s mission is to prepare highly qualified specialists for the country's public and private sectors, and to cover new research fields in economics, in line with the global and European standards in this field. The Faculty of International Economics and Politics carries out research on various issues related to the development of the world economy and that of Bulgaria.
Courses offered: The Faculty of International Economics and Politics offers Bachelor's and Master's programmes in international economics and business, international relations/political sciences and international project management. In addition, the faculty provides a PhD programme in world economy and international economic relations with focus on international trade and finance, international market studies and European integration.
