The Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy and Services (SRC) of the University of the West Indies, in an effort to include more international students in its programmes, is inviting interested persons to apply for its Master's Degree in International Trade Policy (MITP) offered by the SRC.

The University of the West Indies has a long-standing relationship with the Virtual Institute, as Vi study tours are a compulsory element of the MITP. So far the Vi has organized five such tours for UWI.

The programme, which takes place at UWI's Cave Hill Campus in Barbados, also provides a unique opportunity to study trade policy from the perspective of Small and Vulnerable Economies (SVEs) and that of Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

As this programme is offered in the Caribbean, there is the added advantage of year round sunshine with average temperatures ranging between 78.5 and 86.5 degrees Fahrenheit. The Caribbean is noted for its moderate year round temperatures and beautiful weather. (Note from the editor: )
