We are glad to inform you that our department of World Economy, Faculty of Economics, St. Petersburg State University, is launching a semester program, "Russia in Global Political and Economic Arena," taught in English.

The program consists of four modules: History and Culture of Russia; Russia in Global Affairs; Economic issues in Contemporary Russia; and Doing business in Russia.

The course is organized to give students an in-depth understanding of Russia's current economic situation, the specificities of doing business with the country, and practice on making forecasts of its future development.

"Russia in Global Political and Economic Arena" is an
internationally oriented program, with the focus on foreign students and business leaders. The courses are principally taught by professors of the St. Petersburg State University.

We plan to start the program in the next spring semester (February-June 2010). The program tuition fee is €2980. We are glad to offer the partners of the Virtual Institute a discount of 15 percent.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We would be glad if you or your students would take part in this program.
