Vi Spanish member, the University of Barcelona (UB), through its International Chair WTO/Regional Integration, calls for applications from Vi members interested in obtaining a scholarship to study in the 2011-2012 edition of UB's Master of Law in International Law and Policy (IELPO).

The scholarship covers tuition and fees of EUR19000 and provides a EUR4000 grant to help defray costs of travel and stay.

Deadline for applications is July 20.

The IELPO programme revolves around 7 teaching modules whose aim is to equip participants with the knowledge and analytical tools required of practitioners in all major fields of international legal and economic governance.

The scholarship is offered by UB in collaboration with the Patronat Catalunya-Món, which also contributed to the scholarships offered for the 2009 -2010 edition, and the Barcelona City Council.

Junior academics or students from Vi member universities are eligible to apply, subject to endorsement by their universities.

To apply:
  • Fill out the application form on the IELPO programme's site: http://www.ielpo.org/appform2.asp
    • For the question "How would you finance the IELPO programme?," enter "Virtual Institute scholarship"
