UNCTAD Virtual Institute (Vi) Study Tour for Vi member universities from the Russian Federation

From March 31 to April 5, students and lecturers from three Russian member universities took part in a Vi tailor-made study tour designed to complement their academic studies with exposure to the negotiation process and the workings of trade and development international organizations.
In particular, the programme included discussions on dispute settlement mechanisms, intellectual property rights and Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Sessions were led by experts at UNCTAD, WTO, the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
