The Vi fellowship programme provides support to developing country academics seeking to prepare research papers or develop new courses for their institutions.
Selected on the basis of proposals submitted to the Vi, academics come to Geneva for a period of 2 to 6+ weeks to work on their teaching or research projects.
During this period, they get access to the expertise of UNCTAD and other international organizations, as well as the resources, databases and publications at the UN library, at UNCTAD and its partner institutions in Geneva.
The possibility to participate in the fellowship programme depends on the availability of funds from donors or member universities.
