About the University
Located in Eldoret, Moi University was founded in 1984 as the second university in the country.  Since its establishment, it has expanded from a first intake of 83 students to more than 24000 today. The University is committed to quality work, to provide education and to meet the needs of the population and stakeholders through quality and relevant teaching, research and community service and outreach.

The University is composed of thirteen schools, four directorates and one Institute.

It proposes undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the following areas:
