The Human Development Research Centre (HDRC), located in Dhaka, is a multidisciplinary research organization established in May 1999. With over 150 studies to its credit and a full-time staff of 60, HDRC’s work covers empirical research, policy formulation and advocacy. Its objective is to provide training in the field of human development and to promote the exchange of ideas and practices.

HDRC conducts research related to investment climate, growth and poverty, poverty alleviation, energy and development, and land rights issues for development. HDRC also provides services in the following areas:
