About the university: The University of N’Djamena was established by government decree in 1971 and aims at providing high level university education and research to foster the development of the country. The university serves 6,000 students. It is a full member of the International Association Universities. The university is composed of seven faculties, including the Faculty of Economics and Management (Faculté des Sciences Economiques et de Gestion - FASEG).

Areas of expertise: FASEG’s research is conducted through its Research Center for Applied Economics and Management (Laboratoire d'Etudes et de Recherche en Economie Appliquée et Gestion - LAEREAG). The topics covered include, growth, poverty, trade, environment, natural resources, entrepreneurship, globalization and development strategies, and south-south cooperation.

Courses offered: FASEG’s Master's programme in international economics offers courses on international economic law, financial markets, international trade logistics, and others. The faculty also offers a Master’s in economics and management, delivered by a consortium of universities from the country and region, as well as from several developed countries.
