The ITC will host a week long workshop in July this year on 'Strategic Market Analysis for International Business Development' which will cover, among other topics, how participants can better utilise market research to formulate trade strategy and how to bring together local institutions to support trade related activities.
The workshop is aimed at market analysts and information managers in trade promotion organizations and chambers of commerce, and for private sector professionals directly involved in international business development. It will draw on many of the ITC's tools used for market analysis in the development of international trade strategies and will adopt a hands-on approach to encourage individual analysis by particpants.
The workshop aims to enable participants to think strategically in the application of market research, to contribute to the design of trade promotion strategies and to better lead their own research programmes.
The workshop will take place from the 4th to the 7th July 2006 in Geneva and is provided free, although particpants have to pay for their travel to Geneva and accomodation during the workshop. For more information about the workshop and the work of the ITC, please click here.
