Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will hold its 13th Annual International Management Conference from May 28-30 in Kampala, Uganda. This year’s theme, “Moving the Economy to the Next Level” will look at sectors such as manufacturing, tourism, capital markets, investment and revenue generation.
As announced by MUBS’ Vi coordinator, Geoffrey Bakunda, during the recent Vi membership meeting in Geneva, the university encourages the network to share its experience during a session on Research and Economic Development. The deadline for submission of detailed abstracts is March 18. Full papers are due April 15.
“The conference proposes a most interesting program,” said Vi Chief, Vlasta Macku. “We particularly liked the session on the role of academia - as we are working in this area.”
