The University of Barcelona has generously reserved 10 scholarships for Vi members to enrol in its new Master of Laws in International Economic Law and Policy, which begins in September.
The offer was made by the Director of the Programme, Mr. Ramon Torrent, who made a presentation during the recent Vi membership meeting held in Geneva.
The 33-week programme will be taught in English by leading international experts, and will cover seven modules dealing with the legal aspects of international economy, trade, investment, finance and other policy-related themes.
Vi members with undergraduate or graduate degrees in law, economics or international relations, and particularly from developing and least developed countries, are encouraged to apply by March 31, 2008.
The scholarships, equivalent to €19,000, will cover tuition and fees, as well as course materials and field trips. Travel and room and board must be covered by the student.
