Through a critical overview of current attempts to minimize climate change impacts and improve economic growth, Sachs suggests a different trajectory for governments to follow. He advocates a global strategy of problem solving, public-private partnerships to spur technological transformation, reduction of population growth and support of a technical body to develop plausible solutions for each region and estimate implementation costs.
